Livability

If you are in the market for a home in a new neighborhood there are so many questions that can pop up. How close am I to shops, restaurants and services? Can I walk to what I need?  How would  my commute be from this area? Here are a couple of  online resources that can help out:

WalkScore.com provides a rating on a particular address or neighborhood. The site also covers public transit, commute and local businesses.

AreaVibes.com offers a comprehensive look at a neighborhood and lists statistics such as weather, crime, cost of living and other livability points.

Both of these sites are great resources when you're investigating a new neighborhood or city.
